The Research Library in Hradec Králové is a public space where anyone can enter, study, or find inspiration. You don’t need a membership to enjoy our atmosphere, use the Wi-Fi, or browse the shelves.
A library card is only required if you wish to borrow from our collection of 1.5 million items or access professional databases. Come in, find a spot, and get to work.
How to join the library?
Option 1: Full Access (Books + Digital)
- Pre-register online to create your account.
- Request books via our catalog (Primo) right away.
- Visit the library in person to pick up your card and finalize your membership.
Option 2: Digital Membership (Online only)
- Register fully online from the comfort of your home.
- Pay the fee via our secure gateway.
- Start searching our digital resources immediately.
